Hard to believe, but would you believe a reported 494,000 (!) tennis fans enjoyed the FREE TRAM services provided by Yarra Trams to this years #AO2024!?! With 4,126 shuttles across the 15 day event – previous records set in 2020 are confirmed as smashed! Amazing…

Thanks again Yarra Trams for FREE TRAMS to & from Australian Open. Also to Tennis Australia for ensuring all tennis fans had access to FREE TRAMS up to an hour after end of scheduled play each night.

The sun has set on another fantastic Australian Open, and Yarra Trams was thrilled to work with Tennis Australia to deliver our biggest AO service ever, welcoming 494,000 tennis fans on board, with 4,126 shuttles across the 15 day event – smashing the previous records set in 2020.

It’s a privilege to be part of the team delivering major events that put Melbourne on the world stage. We had a ball at the tennis and are gearing up to deliver our next major event. Watch this space!
