Theme – transformation | 2012 cover shoots

Creative brief from Director VUI for 2012 cover shoots demanded something unique.

  1. successfully pitched the idea that the cover should capture the transformation from an international student experience at Vic Uni, into a successful, professionally employed VU graduate.
  2. visual for this creative brief was achieved in close consultation with VUI’s professional, freelance photographer.
  3. For the professional images on the cover, negotiated access to the Ian Potter Gallery entrance as well as outside GPO Bourke St, Melbourne. Campus shots provided the ‘balance’.

Cover shoots (2010, 2011, 2012)

  • recruiting, mobilising, logistical planning (annual value: $15K)
  • engaging and briefing commercial photographer
  • up to 40 students, 12 key locations onsite/offsite campus locations
