Committed to the development of sustainable healthcare facilities for underprivileged communities both in Australia and around the world,  Traditional Healthcare (TH) is an Australian based not-for-profit charitable organisation.

Newly appointed Project Manager Al Bosnic says that the upcoming benefit gig will feature the cream of Melbourne's up and coming songwriting talent.

“Gertrude's Brown Couch in Fitzroy is playing host to our TH benefit gig and we’re expecting a solid turn-out in support of our cause.  We’re also approaching businesses who may be interested in helping to promote the gig in some way.” said Al Bosnic.

 
"I met the other artists who will appear at the TH Benefit Gig at a recent songwriting workshop hosted by APRA," said Mr Bosnic "It was facilitated by Pat Pattison, Professor of music and poetry at Berkley College of Music in Massachusetts, USA.  He counts John Mayer (your body is a wonderland) and The Rescues among his more famous students.  The latter recently had an iTunes US song of the week.”

Mr Bosnic says that initially the monthly concerts will feature new local talent.

"Later on we hope to get some bigger names such as John Butler, who is a friend of the organisation, and also I'm trying to get Paul Kelly to participate," said Mr Bosnic.  "We are looking for acts to play in the future, so if you're in a band or know of someone whao may be interested I can be contacted on ahbosnic@mac.com."
